All couples lead around anticlockwise to place. On last two bars, men raise their arms and the lady dances clockwise under the arch into place. All couples swing in waltz hold. All couples house right round to finish. All figures except third: Beginning, First tops, Second tops, First sides, Second sides, Ending Third: Beginning, Figure, Figure, Ending

Dancing man and opposite lady advance into the centre and swing. Finish up facing your original direction - i.e. into the set, on your own side, inside the set from your original place and close to the person you were just swinging. Both dancing couples dance rights and lefts without hands. Women move through the centre first and third, men in the centre second and fourth. You pass your opposite by your right shoulder and your partner by your left. Do this all the way around and go past your own place. All swing corners. All swing partners. The easiest way to do this is to end your swing facing your own place and pass the person you were just swinging with by your right shoulder. Second top man and opposite lady swing in the centre. First side man, then second side man, and their respective opposite ladies repeat the figure.

Dancing couple house inside Dancing couple makes an arch with right hands and dancing lady turns underneath (clockwise) four times. Dancing man dances on the spot during this time. Dancing couple pass by right shoulders and dance across to opposite side (four bars). They then dance past their partner (again by right shoulder) to line up (in four bars). Couple opposite to dancing couple split apart in last two bars and go to their own side. This should leave two lines of man, lady, man, lady (reading left to right facing the line). The 'couple opposite' is the other dancing couple pair - e.g. second tops if first tops are dancing. All hold hands in lines Lines advance and retire twice. On last two bars, only non-dancing couples (i.e. couples who were 'in line') retire to place - dancing couples dance on the spot (they're already in place). I call the lines with the side lines 'side lines' and the lines with the tops in the middle 'head lines'. All swing partners Second tops do figure. First tops split apart and go to side lines on bar 6 of item d. First, then second, sides do figure.

Ladies advance and retire twice Men advance and retire twice. On the last retire, the stay near the centre and give left hands across to the opposite man. They they go into Waist and Shoulder hold with their partner. Heading anticlockwise, dance all the way around to your own place. On the last bar, turn toward your partner and take Waist and Shoulder hold again (opposite hands). Men put their right hand into the centre. Dance all the way back to your own place, heading clockwise. On the last bar, men turn to face their partner and move into their usual place on their lady's left. All swing clockwise in a big circle. Left arm should be over someone else's, and right hand under. Left hand should be holding someone else's, and right hand held by someone else. Left foot in the centre, right pushing around. All swing anticlockwise in a big circle. Right foot in the centre, left pushing around. Keep same hold as normal Christmas. The changeover usually involves a stamp on the first beat of the first bar as everyone changes foot. All swing partners
