This mix, like Mach 7 before it, showcases a set of purchases from TrackItDown . The complication with this one was that I had purchased a bundle of Psy Trance tracks as part of it. Normally what I do to mix these showcases is to grab all the tracks I want to play, put them in the playlist, and then rearrange them to make sense. But once I’d done that and played it through I found myself not really wanting to work on it at all, or even listen to it.
In hindsight the problem was obvious – I’d bought a bunch of tracks that I hadn’t actually selected because I wanted them, and I was trying to stuff them into a mix with tracks that I really liked. When I realised this, the solution was also obvious – pick the tracks I liked from the Psy Trance bundle and just mix that preferred subset.

I welcome any suggestions, criticisms and recommendations for new music to listen to. I will consider doing specific mixes for people, but this is only a hobby. Hope to hear from you.
